For new hires (those not currently working for a sponsoring provider in an eligible role): 

Apply by August 1, 2025 and be employed with a sponsoring provider in an eligible role by September 30, 2025 to join Cohort 8

Apply by December 1, 2025 and be employed with a sponsoring provider in an eligible role by January 30, 2026 to join Cohort 9

For current employees (those currently working for a sponsoring provider in an eligible role): 

Apply by September 15, 2025 to join Cohort 8

Get hired and loan repayment (up to $45,000)

BH Fellows Benefits

Educational loan repayment (up to $25,000 for a bachelor’s degree OR up to $45,000 for a master’s degree) or free access to an approved professional certificate program (for tax purposes: student loan repayment funds are listed as an exception to participant's gross income, however you should still consult a tax professional for advice regarding this exception and annual tax filings)

Paid time off for training and professional development as part of a cohort group including a retreat and career enhancing connections

How To Qualify

1.   Meet qualifications of program-eligible jobs.

2.   Apply to participate in BH Fellows.

3.   Accept award once application is reviewed and approved.

4.   Obtain a job at a participating provider within one of the target service areas (assistance provided by BH Fellows program staff).

5.   Meet employer eligibility requirements and start the job before you begin your two-year commitment as a BH Fellow.

6.   Maintain employment with an eligible provider for a two-year service commitment.
